When purchasing or upgrading your license, you can choose from different payment options. Below you will find an overview of payment by invoice as well as the conditions under which it is available.
When is payment by invoice possible?
By default, payment by invoice is available to companies based in Germany for certain license models. The invoice is automatically sent via email after the order is completed and can be paid within the specified payment term.
We distinguish between one-time licenses and annual licenses. Below you can see which license types are payable by invoice and which are only payable online (e.g., by credit card or direct debit).
German companies with a one-time license
- Freelance License: Online payment only
- Small Business License: Payment by invoice or online
- Corporate License: Payment by invoice or online
German companies with an annual license
- Freelance License: Online payment only
- Small Business License: Online payment only
- Corporate License: Online payment only
International companies
All licenses: Companies based outside Germany can only pay online (e.g., by credit card or SEPA direct debit).
How do I pay by invoice?
In your trial version menu, open Account & Billing > Buy License.
Select your desired license and click Next.

Complete the order process (license, possible add-ons, company details).
In the Payment Method step, select Bank transfer upfront and click Next.

Before finalizing, you will receive an order summary. Click Submit Order.
The invoice will be automatically sent via email after the order is completed and can be paid within the specified payment term.
